Kinds of Volunteer Tasks
Intake and sort donations
Sort and organize donated items. Price items.
Retail support
Help customers, work out prices, and run the cash register.
Store help
Put out merchandise, move furniture.
Building & maintenance
Paint, mud & apply drywall, clean, do skilled work such as plumbing, heating, or electrical
Administrative support
Help with office tasks, social media, communications, or data entry. Many can be done from home.
Fundraising & outreach
Support fundraising initiatives, community outreach events, and help spread awareness about our mission.
Board members
Contribute your expertise to our board, help guide organizational strategy and governance, and provide hands-on help as possible. Monthly meetings.
