Our Partners
Rochester Greenovation partners with a number of local non-profits. We help each other fill in gaps in services for our community.
Cooperative arrangements
We’re partnering with Riverside Creative Collective, a collective of artists and non-profits, who rent studios on the second floor of our building.
Asbury First United Methodist Ministries
Asbury serves the community in a number of ways. One is distributing clothes to anyone who is struggling or homeless. Greenovation gives Asbury clothes for their warehouse as needed, and Asbury gives us things we need, like hangers, when they can.
Helping others raise money
We have special arrangements with several organizations to help them raise money. When you donate items to benefit the following charities, half goes to the charity. Just let us know when you drop off the items.
Keeping Our Promise, Inc.
KOP is a comprehensive resettlement program for Afghan, Iraqi, and Kurdish interpreters and support personnel in the United States today. Rochester is now home to Pashtuns, Uzbeks, Tajiks, Hazara, Turkmen and Nuristanis from Afghanistan, Sunni and Shia Iraqis, as well as Kurdish allies who served the U.S.
Greenovation provides offices for KOP on the second floor of our building. In return, their volunteers run the store on Saturday and they provide Greenovation with the labor of immigrants in their program when they can.
You can designate KOP as a beneficiary when you donate items to Greenovation.
Ganondagan State Historic Site
Ganondagan is a native American historic site which includes an Art & Culture Center museum, a bark longhouse, and hiking trails in Victor, New York.
You can designate Ganondagan as a beneficiary when you donate items to Greenovation.
Genesee Country Village & Museum
Genesee Country Village & Museum is a living history museum with a historic village, an art gallery, and a nature center, helping people connect with local 19th-century history and art, as well as nature. It has costumed interpreters. It is in the town of Mumford in Monroe County.
You can designate Genesee Country Village & Museum as a beneficiary when you donate items to Greenovation.
