Progress on our New Store

We began working on our new space on Flint Street in April of 2024. The store is now up to code and open for shoppers, but there’s still more to do.

 We’ve cleaned the concrete floor

We’ve built a fire wall ---

We’ve repaired most of the windows

We’ve set up the store

We’ve put up new LED lights

— with two layers of sheetrock on each side

We’ve torn down the ceiling and one of the walls in what was originally a room-sized cooler, as the ceiling had rot and the metal wall had rusted.

We’ve rebuilt the ceiling and wall.

We still need to:

• Install a front entrance

• Build a handicap ramp to the entrance

• Put up signs outside & inside

• Install a public bathroom

• Build an elevator shaft & install an elevator to the second floor
